All-Fill Inc. takes great pride in engineering, manufacturing and assembling custom machinery solutions.  About 30% of All-Fill’s business is truly custom work.  Utilizing our advanced knowledge of product handling, All-Fill was able to accurately fill both a powder and a fragile granule using the combination of multi-fill (multi-spindle) auger filler as well as a truly unique three head, dual lane cup filling machine.

“All-Fill understood the customer’s unique application and provided a custom machine more than capable of exceeding their expectations,” exclaims Buddy Pennisi, Product manager for All-Fill’s in line net weigh vibratory filler and volumetric cup filler division.  Because the customer was using a very nice free flowing granule, we were able to increase the speed of the packaging lines by segmenting the cup filler, in essence, a three head cup filler yields six heads worth of production.

Utilizing a indexing cup conveyor below the All-Fill multi-fill and custom cup filler, the customer can create a 1×6 array of empty cups to be quickly indexed (short distance) beneath the filler. The custom solution provided by All-Fill will allow both filling machines to be interchanged over top of the indexing cup conveyor via a trolley system.  “Often times, our customers want to slide a unit in (over top of the packaging line) and then slide it out when they need to utilize the other filler,” exclaims Kyle Edginton- Vice President AFI.  If All-Fill could have utilized a common auger filler or cup filler, that would have been ideal, however we had to provide two units that are very easy to swap out.  This same approach is often taken when integrating with K-Cup coffee packagers.  All-Fill works very well with indexing cup manufacturers such as Pack Line (NY.OH.
