ALL-FILL’S OFFERS FAST FILLING OPTIONS

February 25th, 2016

Almost every packager has the need for speed.  Whether you are a newcomer to packaging that has started with basic, simplistic, semi-automatic filling machines or a giant player with sophisticated machinery already in place, almost everyone is obsessed with “going faster.”  If your packaging operation is ready to take that next step or improve your already blazing fast packaging system by 10%, All-Fill is definitely able to help.

All-Fill basically offers two types of high-speed filling machines.  Volumetric rotary auger filler or a volumetric in line multiple auger fillers are the two most viable options.  Depending on the application, All-Fill will decide which approach is best suited for you.  Based upon your container size and shape, volume to be filled, product being filled and cleanliness/aesthetic concerns, one machine will ultimately prove to be more advantageous to take your company to the next level.

All-Fill’s volumetric rotary auger filler comes in many different sizes and shapes.  Preferably, All-Fill would like to outfit each rotary filler with a servomotor controlled auger, timing screw and rotary turret.  The combination of three servomotors controlling  each feature is very user friendly regarding machine set up and change over.  Rotary auger fillers are typically manufactured with 12 pockets (transfer funnels), 24 pockets (transfer funnels) or 36 pockets (transfer funnels).   The number of pockets is determined by the dispense time needed for the product to drain from each pocket into its container.  All-Fill utilizes the results from a very detailed, free of charge lab test in order to size rotary fillers.  Rotary fillers can, given the right application, fill units at a rate of 400+ per minute.

For those applications in which a high speed rotary auger filler is not the best option, an inline volumetric multiple auger filler is usually a good match.  A multiple auger filler is typically designed to have several fill nozzles that are simultaneously filled.  The ability to add multiple heads ensures that multiple containers are filled during the same timed fill cycle.  The speed of multiple auger fillers can reach up to 300 units per minute and typically offer very good control of product dosing and the ability to gain efficient dust control.

If you are “obsessed” with going faster, give All-Fill a call.  In addition to the blazing fast speeds offered by rotary fillers and multiple auger fillers, All-Fill also offers inline fillers such as SHA-600 (single head automatic) and DHA (dual head automatic).  We are the filling experts, allow us to determine the right machine for your soon to be blazing fast packaging needs.
